Because I've done it myself, on the good days and the hard ones. My first startup was Cronodeal, where I raised my first funds. It didn't survive, and it taught me more than any success. Then I co-founded GOLD AVENUE, a spin-off, and led it as CEO from its very first day to hundreds of millions of francs in turnover. I hired dozens of people, had to let some go, and stayed on the board until May 2026. The company has since passed CHF 1 billion in turnover and 200'000 clients.
Today I lead Funere, which passed one million organic visits in its first year. I co-founded Vallombrosa, which runs TCS Camping Lugano-Muzzano and Camping Lugano Lake, the largest para-hotel business in the Lugano region. I sit on the board of the Gruppo Corriere del Ticino. I wrote about what all this taught me in my book, Les échecs de la réussite.
I've been an entrepreneur since I was a kid: swapping mushrooms for sweets, selling golf balls I fished out of the river, building parks in Zoo Tycoon, empires in Age of Empires and fortunes in Monopoly. My other passion is nature: fishing, foraging, hunting, or simply exploring. Nature is the greatest creative in our ecosystem. It taught me patience and to look at the whole picture, and that 360° view is what I bring to every conversation. And I stay positive, because problems are easier to solve that way.
